Schools
Glendale is served by more than one school district depending on location. Glendale Elementary School District (District 40) operates schools in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, and Glendale Union High School District (District 205), founded in 1911, operates nine comprehensive high schools serving most of Glendale and part of Phoenix. Getting around
